It's over

Written by Equipo Easy On at 03:17 14/3-2012

  It has been hinted before.

Equipo Easy On is in the game now for 12 seasons. 11 of them in Division 1.
Half of them as No1. Maybe the history of EEO in OCM will be written down one day.

Today, it was announced that most of EEO's riders are free to leave the team.

So far, Eli left it open if he will continue in OCM.
  Several possibilities seem plausible:

  -Retirement

  -a new team

-EEO mainly with German riders, probably not at the top

  -a total sell-out and restart.

When asked for reasons, Eli gave a few. Communication in OCM is terrible. The management reminds me of Formula 1 in its one-man approach. The total lack of influence of the managers. The way racing rules change arbitrarily. General wear and tear in motivation. And many small ones.

On a personal level, Eli admitted that he began to care about the ranking, which he before never really did. Climbing up the ranking was a by-product of wanting to earn cash to train and scout riders. It appeared to have slightly changed.

  Time for a change.

Id like to see a team of Pacific Islanders rule the roads, which in this game basically means Fijians :)

Equipo Easy On at 01:52 22/3-2012
thanks. presently, i am selling out the team and I must admit I scouted a lot. I may be back with a different regional focus somewhere in the lower ranks. Or maybe not. We will see.

Shinboners at 01:10 22/3-2012
Good luck with whatever you decide mate! A number of rule changes over the seasons have annoyed me, but some recent ones have really diminshed my interest in the game.

Maybe the history of EEO in OCM will be written down one day.
  Maybe definitely.
Even in the short time I've been playing, I have been able to tell the team's a legend. It sounds like you and the team have been the kings of OCM since the day it started.
The king can always stop playing, but will never be forgotten.
We will make sure new managers find out about the legend EEO.

Equipo Easy On at 01:53 15/3-2012
thanks for all the kind words.

I just decided now to take a break. No managment of riders sales either. Cheers!

Quick step minded at 00:21 15/3-2012
When I started, you were nr.1 Later I saw you passing the 8000-points mark. Now, about 1.5 year after I started with the game, you're still NR.1. Simply legend man. And personally, I rather see you continuing under the name of 'Equipo Easy On'. You're team may become a bit worse, but at least your great palmares and my sentiment will be intact. :)

@Noppes: GC :) If Stacy Lebrun could get 4th this year, there's no way Iacob couldn't win it... granted Whalers has leadouts and I don't :-P

NECFTW at 14:17 14/3-2012
You don't have a sprinter Eric, why join Germany?

On: The King is dead! Long live the new King! Erm, not very appropriate, sorry.

superduke at 12:53 14/3-2012
You just can't leave OCM completely. So let's put it this way:
Good to see it's 'just' partially over and that you'll continue to play the game ;)

I'm sure you'll find a game style that works for you!

trackstah07 at 12:00 14/3-2012
Restart/drop down just to win the lower-division tours that you've never aces before :) It's fun! I've started to care about ranking again too (after dropping back for a season), but only because I want to go to Germany :-D

ultrajectum at 11:58 14/3-2012
  Noooooo

My favorite Dutch speaking German can't leave! And that is an -order!

Equipo Easy On at 09:35 14/3-2012
the fact that I only sell half the team and that I still announce it kind of tells me that i might stay. and thanks for the kind words and good wishes.

Cremtec at 08:15 14/3-2012
Hope you ll make a restart and find your motivation again!

NightmareChaos at 07:49 14/3-2012
